Nokia Lumia 610 update to bring system and Camera Enhancements

The Nokia Lumia 610 is set to get a host of improvements as part of a special update that will start to roll out globally.

The Nokia Lumia 610 update is set to bring improved system performance, better camera features and enhanced usability for the device itself. The Nokia Lumia 610 is an entry-level smartphone based around a 3.7-inch touchscreen display and running Windows Phone 7.5 on 256MB of RAM.

The Nokia Developers are keen to stress the update is NOT Windows Phone 7.8, we’ll have to wait a little longer for that to arrive. Instead, it’s a bunch of enhancements designed to boost the usability of the entry-level device of the Nokia Lumia smartphone range.

Other than the fact that the update will need to be carried out using the Zune software on your PC, so no Over The Air (OTA) update at this point, nothing more has been detailed about the Nokia Lumia 610 update.

The update will start to roll out shortly, so you’ll need to keep an eye on your device to see if and when it hits your device.

If you’ve bought a Nokia Lumia 610 recently then you’ll already have these new features on-board. If you have then please let us know what they comprise of by leaving a note in the Comments below.
